Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us through this website. Our registration form asks for your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, the type of involvement you're interested in, and any questions or comments you add. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, a subject, and your message.
We do not ask for payment card details on this site. If you donate, payment information is entered with our third-party payment provider, not with us.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to you, to share program and event details, to follow up about volunteering, sponsorship, or state director interest, and to keep records of who is participating in our programs.
We do not sell your information, and we do not rent or trade it for advertising purposes.
Keeping information reasonably secure
We take reasonable, practical steps to protect the information you share with us and to limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No website or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Third-party services
We rely on outside providers for things like website hosting, email, form handling, and donation processing. Those providers process information on our behalf according to their own privacy practices and terms. When you follow a link to an outside site — for example a payment page or a social media profile — that organization's privacy policy applies to what happens there.
Children and minors
Many of our programs serve pre-teens and teens. We ask that a parent or legal guardian complete registration and provide contact information for anyone under 18, and that a guardian stay involved in scheduling and participation.
If you believe a child's information was submitted without guardian involvement, email us and we will remove it promptly.
How long we keep information
We keep registration and contact information for as long as it is useful for the purpose you shared it — for example, while you participate in programs or remain on our community list — and for as long as we need it for recordkeeping. When it is no longer needed, we delete or securely dispose of it.
Your choices
You can ask us to update, correct, or delete the information you've submitted, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time. Email your request to info@fearlessandfocused.org and we will act on it within a reasonable period.
You may also choose to give us less information: any field you leave blank simply limits how we can follow up with you.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
